Leila and roses

I first started working with model Leila on a test shoot with the team at Calico (I can’t drop those pics for another few months, keep a look out) then we went onto a fashion look book for Calico last weekend. (Check out behind the scenes shots on my facebook) Looking forward to sharing those fashion shots as well.

Until then here are a few artistic shots of Leila. As you can see my personal style is much more abstract then my fashion work, I like to focus closer on the alluring physical and emotional features of my subjects..

Old Holga 120 negs scotch taped to window, re-photographed with markII, inverted in photoshop….still low fi?
This was an unraveled roll I accidentally didn’t lick shut, hung onto for a year until I found a lab that processed for 5 bucks.. compared to 19 bucks a roll when I was nyc, two shots made it!
